Default Tokico illumina shocks question (help!)

How do you tighten the top nut on them? its not the same size as the stock one. Thanks.

you need to use a pair of vice grips with either a shop rag or a piece of rubber hose over the shaft to keep it from spinning as you tighten the nut down. It should have come with a new nut, but if it didn't, go to a good hardware store and get a nylock nut that matches the threads on the new struts.

Default the right tool...

Performance Tool W83015 Strut Tool - Suspension

I have the ACR and this is what I bought - fits the top of the strut and the large socket fits the nut (turn it "upside-down"), tool is relatively inexpensive. I am a big fan of using the right tool - too many times I have screwed stuff up or taken 10X as long when I don't have the right tool.

there are adjustment from 1 to 5 on the tokico

what number is the hardest?

Shit I wish I would have had this when I put in my Tokico Illuminas. I'm going to buy it. Hopefully it will fit.
