Default Stock or Aftermarket Springs?

Hello Everybody this is my first post and I just wanted to say that this forum is AMAZING!

Anyways, I am about to buy a SRT-4...just got rid of my SVT Focus. I am buying it from a dealer and they told me that the car is not lowered, even though I do believe it is. I am posting a picture and wanted your input. I had problems on my Focus when it was lowered with tires rubbing and such, so I am a little scared getting another lowered car. Has anyone ever had any problems with lowering springs or anything? Let me know your opinions!

Thank you all in advance!

Yeah, its lowered..you will not need to worry about rubbing, but you will need to worry about blown struts..the stock struts do not like lowering springs. H&R's, or the mopar S1's are easier on struts than Tein's, Goldlines, or Hotchkis. You may end up replacing struts sooner than later, but, I would just tell you to put CO's on, and be done with it.

Yeah there was no way that I thought those were stock. I'm bringing it home today and I'll jack her up and see what's going on under there. I'm not very smart with cars or anything (except maybe audio haha), but how would I tell if maybe there are aftermarket struts on there? And if I wanted to go back to stock springs, how hard would it be to do? Let me know. Thank you all very much!

i would leave it till one blew then i would get coilovers....i have hotckis on my car and it has 70k on the struts and about 12k with the springs on and its holding up just fine.

you wont like the 4x4 look of the stock springs...expecially since the focus stock looks like some of the srt's lowered...
