The stock calipers and rotors are trackable (occasionally, not race worthy).
The stock pads are not trackable, unless you are gentle on them (what's the point?).
I think you'll find most people that go 'round the track are either using an all out big brake kit (BBK), or switching pads at the track.
If you're looking for a little better performance, and mostly on the street go for the Hawk HPS.
A more agressive compound can be found in the HP+ however it will make noise and dust your wheels pretty good. These are beginning to reach the 'race' pad compounds and really require some heat to start grabbing well. I don't think these are what you want.
I really think people should man up and deal with the dust that comes with very nice pads. I love the HP+ that are on another car I have and would like to put them on the SRT-4 later this year.
why do you want different calipers? I don't know of any that are direct bolt in replacements for stock-sized rotors. If you are to the point where you need better braking, then going with one of the TCE or willwood kits would be a step in the right direction.

really wasnt looking into calipers honestly. I just though since i was changing everything i might as well change them too..
But as far as breaking, i think stock is good just going for a little better.
Someone said this was a nice set up. I was also looking at the hawk hp+ that u mention before but i dont need that much power so i went with the step below that i listed.
I prefer the hawk hps.. Thats what I run and I love them!
Though, they do get dust all over your wheels.. Nothing a good cleaning wont take care of, unless your like me and don't think about it for a month.. Wheels are ate up now haha.. Go figure.. But they stop when you tell them too

i could care less about clean front wheels... so im probably going to get the hawk hps. my front wheels are close to shot n e how!

HPS is fine on the street. They are a great street pad actually. They just suck after a lap or 2 on the track. The HP+ can be run as a street/track pad and will last quite a few more laps but nothing compared to some race pads like DTC70s. I run HP+ on the street and track in the rear and swap out my front pads. Granted I am now running Stoptechs but I did the same when I had the OE setup. If you are going to be doing more then a track day or 2 a year I would recommend swapping out front pads before and after. If its just a once in a while thing HP+ would be a good choice if you can put up with the noise and the dust. They do dust a bit more then the HPSs. By track you are referring to a road course right? If you are talking drag strip ignore everything I just said and get HPSs.
road course. i only do it here and there, but i just did one and well obviously stock pads are shit and now im do for some brakes in the next month or two. so i thought i would research some brakes to see if i could get a decent street/track set for the next event on the 1st of august!
all info was very helpful and greatly appreciated so far!
You'll want the HP+ pads as a dual use pad if you want them to last on the track. If you want to switch pads, then stock/HPS for street use then a set of HT-10 for the track would be a good setup. Of course, I keep going back (in my mind) to a combo of Carbotech AX6 for the street and XP10 for the track..... Ceramic so there's less/no dust, and you don't have to resurface rotors or deal with bedding in the brake pads when you switch compounds.
Listen to stowaway & jstbrd. I'm using HP Plus all around for the street & auto-x, and was swapping out to Hawk Blue, will now be Carbotech XP10's on the front for track days. The HPS will not last more than 1-2 laps before fading horribly. The HP Plus is suitable for light track use, but personally, I wouldn't use those on the front of the car either on a real track.
