Default Right front caliper bad?

I have a grinding/squeaking noise coming from my right front brakes. It is extremely evident upon light braking at slow speeds. I have had the rotor turned and put on new pads but still prevails. There is no play on the axle to suggest bad wheel bearings. Could my caliper be sticking? Should I bleed the line? It is very embarrassing when I come to a stop. Any advice?

what pads were used? with cheap pads or good race pads you will get squeaking under those circumstances.

I currently use Hawk HPS pads, but have switched back to stock pads to try and eliminate this sound. Didn't help. It's not so much as a squeal/squeek as it is a grinding noise. I guess I am forced to take it to a brake shop and get it diagnosed. It could turn out to be a wheel bearing due to the car pulls slightly to the right. ??? I am extremley mechanically inclined and have had the brakes/caliper and wheel nut off numerous times to try to diagnose but I am stuck on this one.

wheel bearings would show up with noise while loading that corner in a turn, regardless of braking loads.

i just posted a topic about the same exact thing im just under 50k mileage and my pads are in great condition too. i also have the driver front sticking i believe (i thought it was wheel bearing for the longest time). i jacked it up on both sides and the one rotor spun while the driver front didnt suggesting too much pressure (obvious though it got so hot one time i burnt my finger on the wheel after driving).

when you pull into your drive way try and push your brake pedal and see if it gains resistance. mine does and ( How To Diagnose a Brake Problem | eHow.com ) says thats from brake fluid putting too much pressure on the piston creating our problem... ill tell you how it goes tomorrow
