Default Question on Springs...

which springs do y'all think would make the SRT ride almost as smooth as stock w/ barely any bouncing and less likely to get the shocks blown quicker...? what do you guys think? I need to lower my damn SRT LoL but at the same time wanna make it safe enough for a baby to ride in. Let me know you're opinions/facts.

go with the Mopar springs, drops it 1" all around. you will feel a bit more of a bounce, but it's not gonna be that rough at all. i had them when i had my nsrt and the ride was still comfortable with just slight bounces here and there on the road and it did look good with just a 1" drop.

Eibach Pro kit springs will also fit the bill as well.

Hotchkiss springs will lower the car alot more then the Eibach pro kit which means it will take it's toll on the struts sooner. In our personal opinion the Eibach pro kit gives the best stance and best ride quality.

the hotchkis springs, due to the increased spring rate, last longer than all but the mopar springs on stock struts.

I have never had a great experience with Eibach's lowering springs. Seem too soft to really work with the drop. Also, the Eibach stuff for the SRT is actually for the regular neon.

B&G springs ride great on stock struts (44000 miles so far). I tried the Eibach Pro Kit but the rear struts blew in less than 4000 miles( struts had around 1200 miles on them when I installed the Eibach springs).

I have the mopar stage 3 coilovers. The "I love these" to "these suck and blew out my struts" ratio for the mopar springs seems to be about 99:1. The hotchkis maybe 75:25, while the various Eibach kits seem to be 5:95.

true dat. i have read a lot of stories about people pissed off and buying new struts after using the "big drop springs." just my thoughts and experiences. take all this info and draw your own conclusions.
