Default Question for rollcage experts

Alright in the last rollcage thread, there was a pic of a rolcage in a car but the brace for the front would make it hard to get in and out of it. Also the pin and removable bar look trashy to me. this is what it looks like:

Now this is my idea. Can you make that bar bend so that it goes lower and around the wing or flare of the seat and then brace the bend more by adding a Y to it that attaches to the rear lower support. Would that be strong enough to provide a viable option?
Sort of like this:

SUSPENSION: trac bars, torsion bars, sways, strut bars, 17x7 rims, 225 tires

WAITING FOR MY LAZY ASS: 60-1 turbo, AGP log style, 38 mm w/g, recirculated 3" o2 housing, PTP FTM, race head.

Soon, very soon...

not an expert but i beleive that side bar is there incase of a side impact. you remove or alter that bar, it becomes unsafe.
