when I got my alignment done, I didn't need a camber kit...tokico springs, stock struts & endlinks...but i think my front passanger is blown or almost there, I gotta check it.

let me guess, tire rubs on the fender accasionally and is chewwing up the outside wall of the tire and damaging fender? i had the same exact problem because previous owner strapped some eibach pro kit springs on the stock struts as well. so i had to spend money to fix suspension and fender and tire because he didnt do the job thuroughly. my point is, dont be so cheap. just save up a little bit longer and buy something good that you wont have to replace again because now you realize that your going to have to buy the good shit ANYWAY and fix that fender too now if the paint is chipping off which it will if not taken care of soon enough.

Nope...no rubbing on the fender or chewwing up the tire and no fender damage. I went from 225/45/18's to 225/50/17, and the stockers with 225/50 fill the gap a lot more than my 18's did. Got the alignment done with the stockers on, and they guy didn't have an issue, everything in the green when he was done. As for the strut, my neighborhood isn't that nice, a lot of dips, potholes, and speedbumpbs. And parts of the highway are even and it's a bitch to avoid. So I know the two front are getting abused. No fluid, but seem s like the 'bangs' of when hitting shit seems louder.
i had the same situation still then. it was the same way but i just got an allignment no new tires or anything. i also started to notice that same problem but only on the one side. my shop told me that when the lifted it(taking the load off the struts) and then put it back down, it could have done the trick. anyway, it started the same way. it sounds like the strut is going to crash through your frickin tirewell right? replacing the stock struts is a waste of money so you know because they will just crap out again. good luck. hopefuly it doesnt get to the extent mine did.
I love where the car sits, but the ride sucks. Some of the bumps are ok, but when you get into the real rough parts of town you are bouncing all over the place.
The main thing I hate is all the strut noise. When you hit a nice size hole and it sounds like the strut is coming through your trunk. That and the front is starting to make popping sounds as I turn left or right.

The clunking is usually because of the soft rubber bushings inside the top hats. If you fill the top and bottom of the mounts with urethane the sound will go away. Also make sure your strut shaft nut is torqued. This also causes the sound.
Popping while turning is the cause of worn strut bearings. You took them out of your stock struts and put them with the coilovers right?

I would love to tell you I did, however, I just bought the car and they came with coilovers already on them.
I have the Tein S springs. I read that when lowering it i needed to put on the short sway endlinks, and when I did i noticed less bouncing from the rear of the car. I mean it still pretty annoying when you get to a kinda messed up road, and the car keep bouncing, but i did notice a difference with the shorter endlinks. However if i put aftermarket struts the bouncing will get better or should i just say my money and buy some coilovers????????????
i recomend BC i bought them like a week ago after reading hundreds of posts and well i had the Tein S springs also and they suk they wouldnt absorb a bump at all now i feel like in heaven lol like the car its floating and i had to go 20 clicks cuz it was way to soft..BC Rules.. anyways do ur research..BC BR its 1000 anywere and i got them from Ebay free shipping...
Thats where I am at. I first thought to go with new springs/struts, however, I hear the ride isn't much better than coilovers. And with coilovers you get the better performance. I have a feeling the coilovers on my car are a cheap brand. So, I wonder if I can save and get a quality brand coilover, that maybe, that will fix my problem.
I just Got My Bc's Installed and they r great i love the ride i dont get it tho a lot of ppl were talking about spring rates and i mean they really seem stiff when u look at the numbers but then after u get them installed its another story they r awasome x1 For BC's BR...
