LCA bushing trouble - Page 7 - SRT Forums

I have been riding on mine all fubar'd for a while now. Car drives fine, just makes the typical *clunk* noise over bumps, like any shot control arm bushing.

Tires are wearing fine and everything, so what ever. I get tires that "fell off a truck", and free alignments so I could really give a shit anyway.

Kinda wish I would've waited to order NW bushings they are in my trunk waiting to do the install probably this weekend we will see how that goes I guess

JD - what bushings do you have? Be sure and post up pix. There are plenty of photos and video available to help.

To the OP, it may have been mentioned already but this has been discussed in this forum by other users. Glad you talked with prothane and they are helping, I will have to give them a buzz.

Ya I had seen it mentioned before but thought it was a small percentage. My luck I joined that club. Prothane even asked if I had called them before about the problem so someone else must have complained about the bushings before I did.

I got the prothane bushings from mpx, still haven't gone to rent the press to put them in probably next week. I'll take pics when I do it tho

Since the Energy suspensions bushings are a better design and cost around the same and,,,,,pause for dramatic effect,,,,,,,,,,,,THEY FIT!!

So why bother with the poorly designed and too often poor fitting Prothanes??

Just wanted to post in here since i saw the last post talkin about the ES bushings. I had them in my car and had MASSIVE wheel hop problems. When i installed the prothanes the wheel hop went away almost completly.
The center bushing in the ES LCA had turned and was causing play in the bushing.

Running prothanes here and they all fit like a glove. No issues what so ever yet

Just checked mine since it was too dark last night when i posted, top bushings are torn....
Gonna call prothane when i get back from FL.

Finally got the new set of Prothane LCA bushings in mail. I'll try and post up some pics soon but dont know when I will get to installing them since I just did a bunch of work on the car and dont really feel like turning a wrench for awhile now..

I wonder how dangerous these are to leave in as-is. I am still procrastinating putting my Real-Tune ones in but need to do it ASAP.

Did you call Prothane to get a new set? If so how did you contact them?
