Default Installed BC's ER Coilover this Weekend

Well, after talking with BC and them sending me a tester set of their soon to be released ER double adjustable coilovers, I didn't wait long to install them. I asked for the coilovers to be setup with 8k/10k springs and when the coilovers arrived, they even had rear camber plates

As you will see in the pics, the fronts came with a shorter spring then my inverts (180mm vs. 200mm) and the rears came with a tender spring (although it seems more like a helper spring). Not sure if it is necessary and a BC tech is suppossed to get back to me on that question.

The install was pretty easy . Pull my BC Inverts out, set the ride height comparable on the ER's and then put them back in. The remote resevoir is pretty easy to mount and doesn't seem to be close to hitting anything.

The rebound adjustment is on top like the regular BC's and the compression adjustment is on the remote resevoir but much easier to reach than the adjustment knob on the inverts.

Going to drive it all week to let the springs settle and then alignment and corner balance. And, will see how it handles at the next time attack.

I agree. The spring length is shorter than on the Inverts. Tough to compare shaft length because the ER's are more like the non-inverts.

I am going to try to measure shock travel but it is a busy work week for me so not sure I will get to it till the weekend.

Definitely keep us posted with your measurements. We all know you don't need a tremendous amount of travel when using high spring rates, however it's also not a bad feature to have. Regardless, those coilovers are VERY trick and for the price they can't be beat.

Got them for a great price so I am VERY HAPPY. Also just drove them for 90 miles on the I-5 and they were easier on my back and butt than the inverts with the same spring rate. Will keep everyone updated. Thanks!
