Do Hotchkis sways last long even though they arn't coated with some protective material? I researched on the Eibach Sways, and they're the same material as the mopar sways, but cheaper; the Eibach's also have a "million mile warranty". But Eibachs are 24 mm (front) and 22mm (rear); so they're smaller than Hotchkis sways . I just don't want to purchase something that wont last that long. So it's sorta hard to choose; i'm stuck between Hotchkis and Eibach now..

Default Corrections to part numbers, Notice of URL results

If not....feel free to correct me and I will edit the post. Replies would be nice too....I'm sure there's more info out there.

Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings:
Front: Part No. 9-5110G
Rear: Part No. 9-5106G

QUOTE]

The provided part#'s are for Energy suspension universal bushings. They WILL NOT work on an SRT. Please see energysuspension.com or PROTHANE for a precise bushing replacement product kit and individual part#'s PRECISELY for the SRT. You can find an illustration of the bushings on modernperformance.com to see why UNIVERSAL style won't fit.
The provided URL's redirect to a list of bushings for Jetta/Mazda/Civic. Currently, the only non-available part is the rear frame bushing due to the 19mm rear bar diameter on the ACR. I'm ordering the item anyway (from suspension.com) and going to remove 2mm of material from the hole so it will fit my ACR.
Many auto part stores do carry Energy Susp 9-8119 rear end links and 5.8107 (front end links) as the link stack height is identical on many cars.

I just installed the Hotchkis Front/Rear Sways with endlinks and bushings. Got the whole set from vividracing.com for 269.99 free shipping.

Default Rust is micro-deep on the surface only

IF some rust occurs (or light oxidation or discoloring) on a torsion bar, the damage is only to the appearance. Years ago, a popular sway bar company, Turn-6, made anti-sway bars (torsion bar is the correct term) with a very BRIGHT and distinctive YELLOW paint color. After a few years, the yellow was inevitably covered with road film, dust, oil, petro-goo, and tar. The same thing will happen with the red protective coating on your new bars. Don't worry about the metal becoming fatigued due to some light rust or such. Railroad tracks have had a bit of rust on them for the last 150 years and they still work just fine, as does the occasional rusty wrench. Rust stops at the surface. Your SRT will be in a junkyard before your torsion bar shows any measurable decline in stiffness due to rust or surface oxidation.

Question, if one was running with the PT/ACR sways with S3 coilovers, do you need to change out the endlinks ?

I have the Progress rear bar 22mm, it came with polyurethane bushings, frame brackets and link bolts. A snap to install. It decreased my understeer on '05 with LSD. Very pleased. Michael
