So can you give a recommended alignment spec for mild use and good wear. I have just put a set of 19's on and I am more concerned with wear and good tracking than with hardcore cornering. I have the stage 2 coilovers. Currently with 225 wifht G-forces the car tracks funny and seems to be all over the road pikcing up and road imperfections.
Thanks Dr. Who
sounds like too much caster. hows returnability of the steering wheel?
yeah yeah yeah, lawyers said "thoust shall understeer"
man may have invented die grinders, but THE man won't allow that in the rules
Actually, big camber slows initial steering response, but increases grip at the limit of course....
Would a TSB regarding performance alignment convince 'the man' to let you grind away ??

I was having my car aligned today and the tech said that there was no TSB on rear wheel camber.
Has Dodge republished the specs so when alignment shops pull up the info digitally they know that rear wheel camber should be -1.0?
The guy at the shop is somewhat of a dick and told me he won't set cars up to anything but what the specs call for.

OK, got my Eibach Prokit put on today and will be getting alignment checked next weekend. What camber #'s should I shoot for and should I get the camber kit from Eibach ?

The specs are in the SRT-4 Service manual. Most likely the dick hasn't seen one since they are pretty rare. Have him look at the electronic one on dealerconnect.
[EDIT: 'Kay... looks like I'm the dick.. The Dealerconnect specs are wrong for the base SRT-4... Tell him to use the ACR rear amber spec acceptable range..... hehe....]
Trust me when I say the stock rear camber spec is -1.00 +/- 0.40 degrees.
Mine, at stock was -1.2 in the rear. Good to know that's not actually out of spec!
But, many of you say "this is what it should've been!"
It's a front drive. 0 camber actually produces less grip on launch. This is because the nose of the car WILL lift, and you must account for the loss of camber angle, and the fact that it will pull the front wheels towards each other. Ideal for a drag race setup would be to calculate the lift, and bump steer at said lift, and adjust the camber in to match 0 at launch loads. Furthermore, adjust toe outward (yeah, it'll feel funny, and wear the tires a bit) such that the car attempts to pull in a straight line under agressive acceleration. That tip will cause excessive tire wear if you go too far, but will also tend to cure some natural understeer in a front drive, especially under power in a corner.

yes, i am having problems with this right now and this info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
your lowering spring kit doesn't change what a good alignment setting would be. The same numbers will work great for a stock car, eibach, or coilover equipped car.
