Default Eibach Sportline springs on stock struts

Going to be picking up a set of used 'bachs this weekend but havent had a chance to get new struts. I was wondering how long/if at all, the stock struts would last before giving way to the added compression of being lowered.

On sportlines not very long seeing they ride pretty low and stock struts cant take them long. I love the drop you never know how long youll last on them anyways. I would give them a try if you get a really nice price on them. I would guess on stock struts about 6months or a little less.

Really depends on how many miles are on your struts. The lifespan rating is only 50k.

I went with Mopar s1 springs at around 50k and promptly blew my front left corner. After that I wished I had gone coilovers but got Tokiko 5-ways instead.

Im actually looking at a set of the Tokicko Illumina's that the ACR's run but would really rather not spend that kind of money for "old" tech stuff...

As far as 6 months or a little less that is pretty much what I figured. As long as it makes it through winter so I dont have to shovel snow to get under the damn thing to start wrenching!

As far as the price Im getting on them...50 plus my stocks for em. Good enough for me Id say!

Yeah should get you through the winter up until last of spring middle of summer if your lucky . 50bucks plus your stock springs is a really nice price for the sportlines.

i'll say, it depends on how you drive. I've been running sportlines on stock struts for probably 35k miles... which has been about 3 years of driving. never blown out a strut.

how would u know if the strut was gone? I have the sportlines in my car, but it seems when I do a hard right feels like something is rubbing and hitting. it's only when I do a hard right, left is fine
