What is a good aftermarket set of springs that will drop the car a mild drop without affecting ride quality that much? will H&R springs be any good? i know mopar makes some, but they are expensive for what they do
i had a set of Eibach Pro kits on mine, it was a good drop, maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap between tire and fender. no rubbing issues with stock rims and wider-than-stock tires.
dropped on stock struts with no major issues. car rode/handled good....but when i'd hit a big pothole or bump in the road there would be one loud THUD...
i'd suggest aftermarket struts with the springs, it'll be a different feel as well.
but your stock's should be fine.

I recommend the Eibach Pro kit springs. They give the car a good drop, more aggressive stance and they will tighten the ride up some. You can put them on with the stock struts and they will be fine. I have had these springs on for 2 - 2 1/2 years now on the original struts. These are the only springs we recommend.

i've heard people say that the ride quality is bad/ stiff (or progressively worsening as time goes by), did you hear of any issues similar to this?
if you alter the stock struts with lowering springs you are def. going to have a stiffer ride. If you do anything different you will notice a difference. I had hotchis springs on my car and it was stiffer/bumpier then a stock srt. Now i have meghan racing coilovers and it is a lot stiffer and bumpier no matter how soft/hard my damper is, BUT i love the way the car responds and how stiff it is. Handling is 10x better now.

true, i agree and understand...
but some companies do better research on their products to insure better handling, instead of just putting in any shorter and stiffer springs. i would think eibach would be one of them, but i've heard some bad stories.....
I've got the eibach pro kit with the stock stuts and it is definitely stiffer then stock but no matter what lowering springs you go with they will be stiffer.I'm getting different struts and i'm hoping it will calm the bounce down a bit

If you want a good ride with some drop i recommend tein H-techs they can be got for about 180shipped. RIDE great have almost the EXACT same spring rating as mopar stg 1 springs they just drop the rear .5 more. They have been on my car for 20,000 miles now and the car still drives fantasic!
there not the worst I have had..but not the best ether they came with my rim package so I cant complain. Cant hook to great with them at the track is about my only complaint
