Default Are dogbones worth $100 more than Race inserts?

I seems like the race (red) polyurethane bushings cost about $100 less than then full dogbone motor mounts. Is it worth it to go with the full dogbones?

I could use that $100 and get some polyurethane LCA bushings instead and have all of the weak links addressed. (minus the trans. mount)

solid shifting feel, great road feedback, less chance of breaking axles...

if you want the performance and dont mind the little loss of driving "comfort" then go for it

Yes, because you blew $140 on them, and would like to justify your purchase, or yes because you have ran both?

ive gone from stock, to upper/lower inserts, to bwoody solid trans/u/l, and now back to prothane inserts in u/l and solid tranny mount.

just lurk in the fs section there are u/l combos goin for 50-60 bucks all the time.

Prothanes are probably a better choice for most people... but if you frequent the track or do a lot of racing I'd say dogbones for sure.

race inserts + tranny mount insert set + polyurethane bushing set = money best spent for an all around setup mostly street driven

all of the above + traction bars + h brace = best setup for DD car that sees occassional track duty i.e road x/autox

solid LCA + solid mounts(all) + bushing set = best for weekend car/track car

i will wrn EVERYONE...if you do dogbones upgrade the bolts cause if the lower one snaps you run the risk of damaging the compressor or ac compressor bracket( which is what lower mount bolts to). Im personally not a fan of dogbones on DD/cars that dont see track use...its overkill and definitely wont make the wives/gfs happy or impress the prospects

It is my daily driver and I live in AZ, so the A/C will be on constantly in the summer. I think I'll go for the inserts and get some LCA bushings too. I've only had my car a few weeks, but the wheel hop in 1st & 2nd gear is scary at WOT.

dont hop too much or you'll dread the snap when you hear it if the car still rolls/drives

I thought my car would always have wheel hop until i got my dogbones. 2 thumbs way up! one of my best buys. a/c vibration a little annoying but for me i like the no wheel hop.
