Default Can I use regular neon struts?

I have a set of coilovers in the trunk, but I want to upgrade the struts at the same time. I've been around the web, but I noticed that srt struts are roughly $150 each, while regular neon struts are about $70 each (these are tokico illuminas). Since the chassis is the same, why couldn't I use the same struts?

I think he is referring to the slip on kit sold over at TNS.com. Please confirm.

Yes, its a slip on coilover (springs and sleeves only), not a full kit. I don't care if the struts are adjustable or not, I just want a set to take full advantage of what I got (Ground Control Coilovers).
