Question Camber bolts a must with lowering springs?

I installed my Mopar Stage 1 springs and I have yet to get it aligned. Just wondering if I should go ahead and install camber bolts, since I heard alignment shops will rape you to install them? Do I NEED to do this or is it just a good idea? Also, front? rear? or both?
Thanks!

Thats a great idea and will save you money. Just do all four wheels then have it aligned. You will need them I just put my mopar stage 1s on and it needed some adjustment . They will already hate you cause to align the car with them bolts is a pain in the butt...

I did the springs install with my friend and also the alignment(he works at a dealership) the fronts were ok but the rear needed the camber bolts. they were a bitch but we finally got it aligned right. I would get them, better to be sure its done that day then have to order the bolts and then go back for the alignment again.

Just ordered Stage 1 springs myself and was wondering how far was the alignment off? A lil negative camber isnt always a bad thing.

I would have It checked, anytime The vehicle Is lowered, The camber might not look like It's out, But you toe will be....Yes, Places charge you alot to put Them In....We charge a .6 per side.

Word of advice, If you want to go ahead and buy Them, Install Them yourself, There pretty easy to do, Take out The top bolt, and replace It with the new one....Once you put It In, get a wrench and turn It....pull It towards you will give you positive, You can see The whole assembley moving. Once you have It all The way positive, tighten it up, Then go have The alignment checked. If It needs adjustment, tell Them you have adjustments In already, and They should tweek Them for you.

our stock camber is terrible, in some cases it's even positive on the fronts which is murder on the tire sidewalls. I say we need all the negative camber you can get from lowering, so why worry about trying to get it back to stock camber settings. The mild drop of the mopar springs gives you a bit more negative camber, which we badly need, it's not enough to cause tire wear issues, just a bit more better handling. So leave it as is after the drop, I've run them for 2 years now and I still get the outside edge of the tires wearing out before the inside edge.

This is true to some degree, the fronts more or less can use the neg. camber. However, the rear have quite a bit of neg. camber from the factory so lowering will prob. put it too much out of spec for most people. Hence, most choose to leave the front camber alone after lowering and only use camber bolts in the rear.

P.S. Many SRTs including myself have up to -1.2 Neg. Camber in rear...stock.. however fronts were in the positive.
