Default Bc coil Gap fix?

I have the camber plates in the back and running about -2 degree's of camber in back. That being said, there is about 1'' of gap between camber plate and the strut tower that is hallow and when it rains outside, the trunk area gets wet because the tires splash water up to that gap and inside the trunk area.I have my meth kit and battery in the trunk, and kinda worried about them.

I was goin to try to use some of that expanding waterproof foam that gets used for insulation around the house. It comes in cans and fills in small gaps

I noticed the same thing when i first installed them. I just Stuffed a couple small rags in there for now untill i can make a custom cover out of placstic or sheet metal. I have been lazy though as it has been since April since i installed the COs.

OP your battery should be in a proper bracket, better yet a box so I wouldn't worry about that if it is properly installed, and I don't see why there would be a concern for your meth kit.

it is in a box,but it gets dirty over time cuz of the wet water that gets tossed into the trunk area..i like to keep my car clean at all times

Don't drive in the rain, keeps your car clean and solves your little dilemma. JK What I did was make an extended top hat sorta thing, hard to explain and I dont have pics right now. Take cardboard and mock up a ring about 2-3" tall around the strut mount so you can get a diameter.

Take it to lowes/home depot, or a metal fabrication shop(depends on what you want to use) I used PVC from lowes and spray painted it black, I wasnt going to looks just wanted function.

ANYWAYS mount it however you want to the top of the strut mount, I used 3M double sided tape, and stayed fine. Still leaves plenty of room to adjust dampening as well.

Hope this helps.
