Default Alignment Needed?

What is a good way to know if you need an alignment? I noticed this morning when driving to work that I have to hold the wheel at about 11 o'clock in order to keep straight, does that sound off? Is there a better metric to use to know if it is time?

Thanks.

Default

- First check tire pressure.
- If you are driving on a perfectly straight road which is dead flat you just leave the steering wheel in the center and take off your hands from the steering wheel for a brief moment. If it pulls either way you are due for an alignment.
- Check that your tires are wearing evenly.

Note: Roads usually have some level of inclination for water drainage and the car will slightly steer in that direction.
