I'm definitely not surprised. Everyone knew this was going to happen. There were threads about this about a year or two ago. I haven't decided if paying is worth it or not.

Hey ekool, I paid - I still see 2 google ads - one on the top and one on the bottom. I dont wanna see that please! I wanna see ZERO ads minus the supporting vendors.

FireFox with Java disabled is much faster loading pages, but if you disable Java Script, then you won't be able to add smilies

cant disable it. it's required for me to use it at work.

I paid, I dont really see it that much faster. in fact it feels slower and i feel extremely frusterated#@!$!$#@$#@!$#@!

if you notice, the loading issue is due to all the banner ads. they take the longest to load, i can watch it on my firefox bar...

Baby steps. There is more work to do on it yet. I know he is done for the

here's what i'm getting

everytime i click on a new thread or on "active topics"

it takes from 30 seconds to about a minute to load

Yes and even with Java disabled its back to running slow again....damn banners!

Ehh, I'll tough it out with my 10meg.

I'd pay if you got rid of all the spammers, tools, trolls, etc, and made this site like it was 3 years ago

if we pay, would they enable the preview thing where you can put your mouse over a thread and it previews it without having to actually click on the thread? cause not having that is annoying as hell
