They show up in one spot... the premium was always advertised as having less ads, not ad-free.
Where are they showing up? Any way to turn them off?
I could have sworn that the $40 was to remove all ads that were not from site vendors! Of course I am sure if that's what it said before, it would now be changed....

Nope, nothing has been changed. Feel free to look at any google cache pages of whatever you need to. It has always said "less ads"..
It shows up just under the navbar, where it used to show up.
Seems like the only ones who think the site is slow are the ones that still have ads all over the place. I have 3 ads on my pages and it loads fast. no problems here.
You can only tell people so many times before it becomes useless and redundant.
Under User CP click Edit Profile. Scroll to bottom of page.
Disable "IntelliTXT Ads", "Sidebar in Showthread Pages", and if you are a premium user, "Sidebar on Other Pages". Click "Save Changes".
That should improve your ET by a few seconds anyways.
If you are using a Dinosaur, like me, It won't make a lot of difference.
I use AdBlock Plus (an add-on to mozzila firefox) and i get no adds just being a free member

I had all that disabled and it worked great. Why am I now getting sidebar ads when I'm reading threads?
