Default Gc Srt-8

I'd like to see the 08-09 come in White and have factory HID's! Also, a lil extra horsepower doesn't hurt because as it is, the GC SRT-8 is Bad Azz!

Instead of going for a muscle car/truck/suv... turn one of the ram 1500s into an offroad machine. bigger tires, suspenion, maybe a super charger on the hemi? big factory trucks sale quick.

I would like to see something smaller like a Nitro. However lets look at some numbers. The Nitro comes with either a 4.0L V6 making 260 hp / 265 tq with 17/21 MPG. -OR- a 3.7L V6 making 210 hp / 235 tq with 18/24 MPG. The Crossfire SRT-6 comes with a 3.2L V6 making 330 hp / 310 tq with 17/24 MPG.

So, why not throw the 3.2L Supercharged engine from the Crossfire into the Nitro as a regular street model and offer a different package engine with a Turbo to increase its torque for the trails in an Off-Road model. I really don't see the point in having the 4.0L V6 engine that only makes 260 hp. / 265 tq when you can make a roughly the same numbers with an engine that is almost half the size (i.e., 2.4L turbo + a few minor mods).

This way, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or whoever, can satisfy both "Street" and "Off-Road" consumers by offering two different engines for one vehicle.

the 3.2l supercharged v6 is a pretty poor choice for anything other than a lightweight car. It's a fairly complicated motor with 3 valves per cylinder and likes to rev. Definitely not something youw ant in a truck motor. Also, it's designed and built by AMG (the Crossfire is no more than a slk with a different body and trim). In fact, AMG is no longer working on v6 motors, so strike that down as another reason to not use that motor.

Hmm.... I didn't know that about that engine. I would just rather have a supercharged or turbocharged V6 over a V8.

Then again...the FUCKING T-850 is a FUCKASS choice for the srt-4's, so go figure.

Let see, the GC will get bigger by then while the Commander dies off. Kill off the Commander while stetching the GC.

Bring on the AWD 6.4 ltr SRT engine with a DDG clutch.

SRT needs to beef up the middle line Avenger SRT version to compete against other 6-cylinder performance sibblings. Turbo the 4.0 ltr Phoenix motor..... then add the AWD unit from the Mitsu.

Do we need a RAM 600 version?

What would be very cool, a limied edition specialty vehicle, like the prowler. A concept car made in limited production.

why not redesign a neon?? that 4 door car had lots of success everywhere
i would add some sharper edges, change headlights and taillights design,
add to the car suspension similar to the s2 coils, so car can compete with an evo or sti.
for the potential buyer there can be to options fwd and awd.
i personally love the srt-4 looks like now
also i would like to see avenger in srt version,

edit
and if you choose to make new dodge vehicle as srt, add those projector headlights, i am getting pissed off when i see kias and hyndais with them and srt-8 magnum , charger or even jeep do not have them

SRT = STREET and Racing Technology

that would work, unlike toyota's trd (turd) package....

I second this motion

HERE HERE!! I own both an SRT-4 and a highly moded Jeep Wrangler, and I must admit the newwer ones are (NOT INCLUDING Unlimited series) are looking more like someone is going after the female market... Make us proud of our Jeep, or its off to an FJ or H1 which is what will happen...
