It all fits in there now. I had to take out some spaces but looks good now. Thanks for getting the site up to date. Any news on if the infraction system is working yet? Another question... how can we check the top posting members post count? Like the top 10 or something like that??? Thanks.

i never got my answer....i'm assuming that the entire sig, text included, has to fit that size requirement. that was never clearly outlined before, i was always under the assumption that you were talking about sig pictures. not text.

my signature picture is small (240 x 186), but since i have a few lines of text around it, i get cut off.

edit: 140 x 500?? that's a new limit.

or you can try doing your fucking job, and making the VENDORS be responsible for their online transactions. im new, and i haven't bought anything off the vendors yet, but i sure do hear a lot of bitching about how they rip people off all the time, and how you guys never do anything about it.

That is BS, and it reflects poorly on the site just as much as it does the Vendor.

plain and simple, if you are running a business, which you CAN views this webiste as a legitimate bus. and say one of your partners (vendor) takes a customers money, but never sends the part/service or whatever. YOU should take it upon yourself to kick that partner in the ass, and find what went on.

so, please don't try to make it sound like it is the BUYERS fault for getting screwed, if you guys would actually DO something when a buyer gets fucked i PROMISE it wouldn't happen NEARLY as much,

/rant.

:fingersx: hope that doesnt get me banned, but these days. people need to understand that being a mod, or a supermod is A LOT more than just a spiffy user title. it means you have a responsibility to the site, and the people who use the site/support the site.

That was a SERIOUS noob post.

Castrol has done more to track down and prosecute scammers than anyone else on this board.

Tip: Don't buy things from people selling out of thier garage (search their address on google)

Tip: Don't buy from a group buy if its the first time the vendor has sold anything

Tip: DO RESEARCH on the VENDOR prior to purchase. You'd be suprised how many people get pissed about long waits, when that vendor has been NOTORIOUS for huge lag times in the past.

Banning Scammers is BAD, because it encourages them to make new screen names and start the process all over.

Doesn't really matter if ban the scammer, they will come back with a new screen name anyways. IP bans are about the only way to make it happen and there are ways to get around that now as well.

I feel that there needs to be more admin on here. More moderators with power, more moderators that are neutral. The forums have come to a turning point and I think ekool realizes that. If the money is to keep coming in he will have to revamp the forums with a system that gets rid of the unwanted persons/vendors. The infraction systems seems to be up and working right now so only time will tell what happens to those that break the rules. I for one have kept pretty quite with all the vendors less Aaron at ReatTune. I do feel that the vendors should be protected some what, from the consistant ass'es that seem to make it into every post or thread that a vendor starts/posts on. The ban stick used to be used often and now you only see it getting used on the very few that keep making up screen names. Getting banned over here is very tough, go to other sites and use foul language and you get a warrning, next time ban.
