I noticed that "active users per thread" is on. Bad idea. I would take similar threads over that.

I am sure that it would add alot of stress to the server, but it would REALLY make the search function more usable if the minimum word length was 3 instead of 4! I am also sure it has been brought up before

the search button in the f/s parts section is broke, it keeps searching only through the archived posts section, no matter which way you search, i even tried a general search at the top where all the buttons are (home, forum, photo gallery, etc.) and picked the f/s section and all i get is archived posts.....?

think god i thought i was the only one having the problem . i cant search anything no matter where its from . it was starting to pissed me off , till i found this thread .

well later on last night i figured out that its not just the f/s section, its everywhere only pulling posts from march 2005 and older.....wtf?

Yes... and it's a major pain. I can't pull threads that I KNOW exist.. I can't search for my handle or website addresses in anything newer than 05 so for all I know I could have customers who need attention and I can't find them.

This is not a good thing.

Big surprise. Search feature not working again. I know it's frustrating in general, but come on... it REALLY sucks when I can't search to find responses, etc. that I need to get back to for customers.

i just go to google and search for ex: srtforums acr bbs, and it works like a charm. whats so hard about that people?

I'll see what I can do for you guys.. if I re-index the search function , the site goes down as no one can be posting while the re-indexing is occuring.
I put in a request to do so, until then its a waiting game.

Because I have to go back and look at ALL the topics w/ my name, my website, etc. in them to see if I need to answer questions or get back to someone who asked ME a question.
