It's Official: Dodge Challenger SRT8
The prospect of a
Dodge Challenger SRT8 model seemed a sure thing among many car forums across the internet... however as we all know the current economic situation as well as rising gas prices always left room for a little doubt in our minds. It's refreshing to see the Dodge Challenger SRT8 officially announced, so we may all now let out a collective sigh of relief.
As always, we have a forum dedicated to the
Dodge Challenger and the SRT8 specific model as well at the
Dodge Challenger Forum -
Dodge Challenger Forum
Please be sure to stop in and register and say hi to all the other Dodge Challenger enthusiasts!

2009 production models are being ordered by large dealerships.
Three more models are coming within two-years.

I was told that there will be a 6-speed manual version of the R/T and SRT versions of the Challenger for the second model year. I would love to have a black, 6-speed, Challenger R/T in a couple of years. Sorry SRT-4, but 8>4.
