Default [ :: Forum Rules :: Please Read!! :: ]

[ :: Updated :: 9/26/05 :: 12:03pm :: ]

1. Blatant trolling is not allowed. If you have nothing constructive to offer, your account will be banned. Dont come here looking to do nothing but start shit.

2. Post topics in the appropriate section. This is especially important for topics that belong in Off-Topic, or Super Off-Topic.

3. Keep your avatars and signatures clean. The Off-Topic and Super Off-Topic sections have been created so that people who want to see those items can, and people who DO NOT want to see them can avoid them. By using an inappropriate avatar/signature, you deny them the ability to avoid it.

4. Keep Topic "Titles" Clean.

5. If you feel something negative towards a user/post, please try to state your case in a calm and respectable fashion. Replying to the post just to stir the pot and not offering anything of value is highly frowned upon.

6. Vendor "Discussion/Reviewing/Complaints" are allowed. However, it is not allowed to the point that you can make a post in every thread the vendor participates in to ruin his day, etc. Make your thread in whatever section you feel appropriate, state your case, and be done with it. Harrassment will not be tolerated.

7. Post Whoring is against the rules. If you dont have anything constructive to add, dont add anything. Determining what is Post Whoring is at the sole discretion of the administration team.

8. Rules will be added as they are necessary.

As time has gone on, users have abused the openness of the forums. We will not stand for abuse of our site. We will do whatever is necessary to keep this place clean and free for users who are here to discuss the SRT-4 and other SRT vehicles.

Arguing with the administration team does not win you points. If you have an issue, take it up in private.

If you have any complaints about how you have been treated, rules violations, something that was allowed that should not have been allowed, a post of yours that was moved to the temporary holding area, etc. Please send me a PM -- If I dont know about the problem, I cannot fix it.

It was borderline, but I thought it was okay. It would cause me less headaches if you removed it, instead of having me remove it tho

The vendor rules still apply... I'll "add" them to the rules here when I have some more time.

Advertising a product for another company is not allowed.

Talking about/Reviewing a product is. There is a big difference.
