once again, the acr package includes:

16x7 BBS RX wheels weighing ~19.5lbs each
225/45-16 BF Goodrich KDW2 tires
19mm rear swaybar
specific tokico illumina adjustable shocks with a lowered spring perch
seat harness slots and ACR logo stiched into the seat
ACR badging
stiffer tension strut bushings at the rear

I'm sure if you do the math it's a good deal, BUT it's not something I would get....not a big fan of tokico shocks, and I'm sure I could find lighter seats than what Dodge is going to offer. Wonder if that stuff is available in the ol' Mopar catalogue seperately? The 19mm swaybar sounds good....

the swaybar is really cheap at www.performancespeedshop.com it is in fact the acr swaybar from the older acr model.

In the latest Automobile mag monthly, there is a pic of the ACR ORANGE BLAST version making it way around a course. Good writeup...

Hello everyone!
First post here!!
Does the suspension that comes with the ACR edition rival the Mopar Performance Stage 1, 2 and 3 Suspension Components?

I'd say it is close to stage 1-3, lowered height than stock, its adjustable in terms of damping just like the stage 3 coilovers, but it isn't height adjustable and it has the stock springs in it that are softer than what the coilovers are.

So what would be a better trade-off ,Mopar Stage x or the ACR suspension, or a combination of both?

if you buy an ACR and then put coilovers on it then you replaced a big reason in buying the package in the first place. without removing the stop ring you will have roughly the same ride height. I would go with the ACR package unless you are going full track or you want to really lower your car. Stage 3 (along with the ACR rear swaybar) would be the only thing I would get instead of the ACR package, IMO.

Thanks for the info stowaway!
No, I am not gonna take it to a track or lower it when I buy mine.I just wanted a clarification on the different suspensions when I buy.

i know someone said getting a stage 2,3 suspension upgrade would rival the acr package but getting new springs, such as mopar or hotchkis, wouldn't defeat the purpose of getting the acr, would it?

no it wouldn't, but since the spring seat is lower and the tires are shorter, I'd be nervious that the car would be too low and also I would HATE to blow those expensive ACR spec struts.
