The 300C was the darling of the hip-hop world last year. But such fashion tends to have a shelf life of months, if that, and it’s good for Chrysler that the Dodge Charger seems to have taken its place. While virtually nothing will top the surrealism of Snoop Dogg’s voicemail to Dieter Zetsche, 50 Cent did put in a request for the first Charger off the line (a request that was granted). Expect to see the car in several videos over the next few months, and the Ying Yang Twins will place it in a TV ad for their new album. Chrysler says that they “aren’t going to try to stop this from happening”, but it’s not clear if this is a marketing move or just a smart self-defense strategy.

Nothing makes me want a Charger more than seeing it driven on MTV by a bunch of wanna-be-thug millionaries that won't even bother to learn to speak like an intelligent person.

You may feel that way, but there is a large percentage of the population that does NOT. DCX is just doing what any sane company should do, and thats pursue all avenues of viable marketing.

werd. btw: i saw a charger r/t the other day...those cars are bad-ass in person! i definitely like the rearend. it has a nice forward leaning stance. and the front end makes me think of a shark when i see it.
i like this car.
in other news: also saw an 05 gto. sounded nice when he stomped on the gas at a green light. the few cosmetic changes they did from the 04 make it a MUCH more appealing car. low rpm noise is kinda weak sounding. his left brake light was out, someone from QA is getting fired!

Well I saw my first "ghettofied" Charger last night. It was illegally crawling up the shoulder of I-95 in construction traffic. Had rediculously large chrome wheels on it, one of the rims was already bent a little. Hahaha

Do you have a problem with the hip hop community? It seems every statement you make is negative toward the hip hop community and the interest they have in vehicles. Not every rapper has a flashy car on chrome wheels and not every person who drives that type car is as ignorant as yourself sir. If you wanna be made to look like an idiot please respond
