Pre-registration for the 2006 SRT Nationals at Heartland Park Raceway in Topeka, Kansas is now open.
Dale Seeley and the SRT Nationals Comittee have worked very hard in bringing this together in such a short time.
This event is going to be phenominal. Dale has an incredible line-up of events to last the better part of 4 days.
Some of these events such as the Road Course and Autocross are going to fill up really fast, so get those registrations in ASAP!!!!
Please visit http://www.SRTNationals.org to register and get all the latest information on what is going to be the bigest SRT Nationals event we have had, and one to set the bar for future events.
I love the while concept of the Nationals event, except that I'm in CA, and that's a really long drive. Obviously it's being held in the most central area because it's meant to be accessible to as many owners as possible, but it's still pretty far away for us in Cali. I do think you'll see more people from CA though, because Kansas isn't as far away as New Orleans (about 7 hours) but not many more...
Ha Ha Lulu!!

It does so with authority and poise, but while slipping relatively unnoticed through traffic, never being violent, or dare I say it, frightening. When you ask the SRT-4 to take you somewhere fast, it punches you in the face, throws you over its shoulder, and runs, screaming, so quickly that its tires can barely keep up."

The first "Why is not being held in Cali" post. Many to follow.
Heh... I did that round trip a couple of weekends ago to Phoenix and back. No hotels, no
overnights... man, you guys need better excuses about why you refuse to attend a National meet.

Come on, does your signature really NEED
to be any bigger than this? If you have a
premium membership, you can attach all
the photos you want in your posts...
We will need DYNO info, I will have to re-tune for lower altitude? I grew up in St.charles, MO. But now live in DENVER, 7-8 hours from KC. Whooooo! See you all there.
You think driving your SRT all the way there is bad....try towing it with all of your race supplies!!
It's gonna be about 3200 miles round trip from Los Angeles...the truck gets around 9 miles per gallon......the average diesel price per gallon right now is about $3.15 (I paid $3.60 per gallon outside of LA last week!!)
That means fuel there and back will cost me a minimum of $1,100!!!......
Get a bunch of people together who want to go. Rent an 18 wheel transport vehicle. Split the costs between all of you... might work out cheaper. Plus, no mileage on the cars.
"The California Region will receive special incentives, to be announced later, for their participation in the event"
Does anyone want to guess at what they might offer for incentives?? When will they announce them? It seems like acouple of you already know what's up with them....
450 mile, 2 day ferry trip from Sitka to Prince Rupert and another 42 hour 2,560 mile trip from Rupert to Topeka. Then back through Northern Cal. Hmm Maybe only 6500 miles this time ...............whoot..........LOL See Y'all there
There are special incentives for CA peeps who show.
LA to Topeka
Total Est. Time: 22 hours, 23 minutes Total Est. Distance: 1556.66 miles
Me to Topeka
Total Est. Time: 21 hours, 15 minutes Total Est. Distance: 1345.25 miles
Not even one gas tank difference and I don't get any incentives. I'll see you there. Bring all your friends.
Long haul for us for sure. I'm thinking about going but only if I trailer my car.
