Default Is the Vari-Cool light supposed to blink rapidly?

When spraying, it's solid, but other than that, it blinks really fast, is this normal?

I believe that is normal. And if you turn the min knob above the max knob, it turns the vari-cool off.

Hi, I am a little confused, I answered this exact question for you in detail the other day in another thread.

here is the link:

CoolingMist W/I & Trunk Mount Reservoir HOW-TO is down!

here is the quote:

Quote:

We have different versions of controllers. Our latest at the time of this print is our Version 3 controller. This controllers led will function in several ways:

1) at system power up the LED will blink slow for a few seconds. Once it passes the test the LED will blink fast.

2) When the system sends power to the pump the LED will turn solid.

3) When the Max is lower than the MIN the led will blink fast for a few seconds, go solid for a few seconds and then go back to blinking again. This means the system is disabled.

4) When you are in configuration mode with our software (using your laptop or our pocket pc commander) the system will blink slow).

Thanks!

Ok, you did a nice job. With your permission (or maybe even without) I may convert this to a PDF and include with our kit.
