Default Tank info

I'm looking at the base $199 kit with in-line filter and 2qt tank. My question, is the 2qt tank pre-tapped?

Hi, our tanks are not tapped, however the $199 kit comes with a fitting so you can easily tap the tank!

If I get the standard kit with the low level float switch, can you guys install that for me as well? I finally have my bonus and I'm ready to get started. I will have the PTP UPP on the way.

Holy fast reply, batman! I thought about the trunk mount but I'm sure I want to run the hose from the back of the car. I also need all my trunk space so I wanted to stick to the underhood model for $199

Thats what I thought, but you confuse me. How can I install a float switch on a kit that does not come with a tank? The base kit uses your stock tank

Maybe you thought the base kit had a tank?

sorry, i added on to an old post. My intention is to get the standard kit with the 2qt tank. I haven't really mapped out install space under the hood yet, but I just don't think I want to deal with running a hose under the and up near the exhaust. And i don't want anything obstructing access to the spare tire. I will have a kit one way or another within the next week. No doubt about that, but I'm leaning towards the standard underhood w/2 qt tank and float switch.

Ok, I just placed my order online. I couldn't find the LED on your website though so I left that off but I need it for the float switch. Thanks again for all your help.

we dont carry leds anymore. You can get one at radioshack or pepboys. Your kit shipped today, installed the float for you.

No problem about the LED. Already shipped? You are the MAN I got so busy here at work that I haven't even ordered my UPP from PTP yet.
