Default Stage 3 Hom injection kit

Looking for more info on the stage 3 HOM kit. I am in Iraq and have missed out on most new stuff in the last 7 months. I looked for more threads on it and came up empty (most likely a mix between me and the stupid servers over here). I am still in Iraq but making future plans. I had a coolingmist kit in the past but sold it. Not due to problems with it but changing what I had on the car.

Can you point me towards more threads involving it?

Good to hear from you. The S3Hom kit is one of our best sellers on this forum, however I cant say I know of any threads about it. Most threads on this forum conerning us are not specific to any one kit. If you really search you may find one here or there but I have not the knowledge of any.

Ask what questions you need and I will do my best to answer. If you can provide me an email from your military email address I will have a nice service discount for you.

Thanks again.

Most likely will end up buying it while I am over here still. Is it a complete kit or will I need to buy anything else?

Stage 3 w toys
most every bolt on, some porting work done, stock stage 3 turbo.

Thanks again.

it comes complete. You need a 1/8th NPT tap (27 threads per inch) to tap the nozzle

Coy I will be installing the S3 kit on Ronin's ride here soon. When you come back on leave check it out. If I like it I'll be picking one up to.

Hey Coy, glad to hear you are doing OK in Iraq and wish you well for the remainder of your tour.
I'll go out on a limb and suggest that you not waste your money on a WI kit.
Just look at all the blown engines associated with WI.
Or the cases where WI stops working unexpectedly and there is no fail-safe to intervene and proect the motor.
Or the case where the WI check valve fails resulting in the motor hydrolocking on excess fluid and bending rods etc.

No problem, make it a early morning install and afternoon Dyno Day.

Many things can cause engine failure. If you dont tune your vehicle but use the water injection as a safety device, no problems will occur if it stops working. If you do tune for it you can benefit and make alot more power.

We have a failsafe available for $200 and complete kits with failisafe starting at $425. Our failsafe controller can incorporate many things including:

Detection of hardware failure (pump, solenoid, checkvalve, etc)
out of water
clogged nozzle

System running when it should NOT run.

In addition, you can incorporate 3rd party sensors including flow sensors, RPM, TPS, MAF, MAP, EGT, intake temp, water temp, etc.

I think everyone should be aware of risks involved with any modification but when used properly nothing has the benefits and low cost factor of methanol water injections.

I'll bet my company that for every one person that has hydrolocked or blew up the engine due to a malfunction you will find 100 that the water injection saved the engine.

Having said that, we are all entitled to opinions.

Corky bell sells intercoolers and has every reason to not like water injection, Shiv tuned my Rx-7 about 6 years ago in Pleasonton CA and did nothing but make jokes about how the car will probably detonate during the dyno tune in which he did 11 runs. Would not put much stock in either of them.

I will however say my Rx-7 did not detonate which in itself is a feat. Thanks Shiv.

I would say while prices have risen in some parts of the market, the technology has as well. For example in 2004 we sold our basic kit for $299. That kit today is $199.95.

While we sell kits for $199.95 and sell many that are over $1,000, you get a good deal (based on the technology).

To each there own.

Hey Coy!!

What type of nozzle are most S3 users going with? I see that most are having great results with the dual nozzle setup.
