Default quick question about the pump

Im trying to diagnose my problem. I have the Stg3 HOM kit, cant hold hom anymore.
When the pump is manually powered, and not connected to the nozzles, should it stream out consistently? Or kind of pulse out?
Mine kind of pulses and spits. just trying to figure if pump is bad.
