i'm running all water....am I wrong

I've only used distilled water in my car, and have not tried any type of alcohol in the W/I tank.

is there any gain besides increasing octane with using methanol?

I run a 100 + 93 octane blend.....mostly 100 octane so I don't know how much i'd benefit from more alcohol, and can't measure differences in water/meth blends b/c I have no knock reading---except the DTEC knock light which sucks big floppy donkey ****

anyone here have any ideas?

I think if you ran 40% methanol or denatured alcohol you may find some nice gains. Methanol does have a great cooling effect + octain gain. Personally I like some methanol, but water definately is the best for detonation prevention.

Probably a bit confusing what I just said? Try some meth and let us know.
