Default CMGS Controller

Anybody know if it fits in the stock gauge pod? Thinking of using this as a dual purpose unit for a pump controller and a boost gauge.

How fast is the boost reading? Does it move pretty fast?

Is it a direct fit or does the pod need modifying?

Thanks.

No it only reads boost. There is no "boost/vacuum" sensor that does both that we can use for this. To read vacuum we would need a vacuum and boost sensor. It would cause the price to go crazy and to be honest we dont have enough room on the circuit board. we put 117 components on the little iddy biddy board! that includes the 3 large 7 segment LED that displays boost.

Its quite remarkable IMHO that my engineer was able to do what he did with this. Adding vacuum is something that we cant do with this. Due to lack of real-estate and cost restraints.

Yes...you guys should ask all you want. Its the only way to learn. I tend to give as much details as possible to give the customer an understanding as to why we did not add a certain feature or why we did add one. Having the best possible understanding of CMGS / VC2 is important
