hey guys the little mesh grill thing on the OEM hood can we take that off? or can we just put the plastic one from the regular hood in there??

We can build it with or without the mesh grill. The stock OEM hood scoop insert will not work because our opening in much bigger than the stock one.

There has never been an option for mesh or no mesh on your website...Is the mesh extra? I'd hope not. What do the inside of your scoops look like? Smooth, rough, unfinished? And whats the mesh look like? I want one of your OEM hoods either way. Thanks.

No, it is not a standard option, we build every one with the mesh but when you order it if you ask for the grill not to be put in we can do that for you. The grill material we use is a stainless steel wire weave. I looks very good. I believe if you look real close you on our website www.carbonbydesign.com you can see the grill if you click on the hood pics.
