Default Hood Idea... Think you guys should consider it :) lol

Just an idea here...I thought of a new hood design someone should make for our cars.

Since i dont have access to the complete web at work to get pictures to work with. here is just the idea.

On the 96-97 Mustang Cobra Hoods, they have the nostrils of a snake at the top of the hood (closest to the windshield) I was thinking what if our car had those nostrils?

Not the greatest pic, but look at the hood...

Imagine, using the same srt4 hood design, open up the hood scoop a little bit more for better air flow, and then add those cobra nostrils at the top of the hood, where our hood kind of slopes up on both sides. I believe it would also help let heat escape!

I will post up pics of what i mean later, when i get home, but if anyone wants to help post up pics, then let me know!

Gabriel

Gabriel,
If a functional heat reducing hood is what your after, the AI hood already works great at venting the high heat and high pressure zone in the engine bay to the low pressure zone just infront of the windshield. Our SRT-4 line of products is on hold for further expansion until we get the Charger, Magnum, and 300C product line completed. At that point we may go back and analyze other hood options for the SRT-4. Thank you for your input.

You know the scoops on 96-98 cobras aren't functional, Gabe, right?
Besides, that on the srt with the stock scoop would look too goofy and busy.
