Default Carbon fiber is getting cloudy.

what should I do?

I have the CF fusebox cover which isnt really exposed to any kind of sunlight and the carbon fiber has turned from black to a creamy whiteish color...

what are my options?

I don't own any carbon fiber but I heard peanut butter does it. I tried it on a friend's hood and it definitely helped.

holy crap! Did you get any kind of chemical on it? Engine degreaser maybe? I've never even seen CF hoods or anything that's CF in direct sunlight 24/7 get that bad. How long long ago did you notice it turning?

Give CBD (assuming you bought it from them)a shout... and see what BS reason they give you for their shitty gel coat turning a milky white color. Pics will be your friend in that scenario. Who knows... they may be nice and let you exchange it if you still have the receipt.

I'm still wondering even if it is the heat that did it... how in the hell did it get hot enough all the way over by the fuse box to fuck up the coat like that. Scarry.

Or IN the clearcoat, which is really not clear... it's gelcoat. And gelcoat can go bad over time if it's mixed poorly.
