Theres 1...Wheres all the BW's at (excluding the race/auto set ups on this board)?? Not trying to insight a fight but i watch eric's car run a 10.6 with ease at nationals when there were other things going on with his car...
They make really good turbos.

The purpose of ignition advance is to account for the lag time following spark ignition for combustion pressure to peak at 15 degrees AFTER TOP DEAD CENTER. A little fyi !
Nice! R u going to build the motor first or do it all at once?
Reed: I can't wait to see your car in action.
I can't wait until my motor is done and see how this Rage Head performs.

that car is not your regular srt-4 owner car. that tranny is built with unknown specs and thats why the turbo is shining on the car. built motor+built custom 5 speed tranny, plus car wieghs less then people think (i was even told by a dcr source it does), solid tuner. Not ragging on the car because its a very strong car but until i see dyno graphs or track times from another srt owner that doesn't go to realtune then i wouldn't recommend it to people. thats my .2

Nemo's car did it on a Bullseye turbo before the delta turbo's were even thought of. It was a daily driver, I know because it used to be my uncles car. When we ran 10.5 on it with heavier then stock weight (cage, scatter sheild, a/c, power steering, kicker woofer, full interior and a car seat for the kid in the back seat) It was funny seeing a childs car seat amoungest the roll bars.

Building the motor and tranny and putting EVERYTHING together and in the car during a week (it will be some late night nights that week)

Im not going to get into what turbo brands are better...as there is an application for every application if you catch my meaning. I will say that both BW and Delta turbos are the hot ticket these days and both perform very well.
Ive been happy with every BW and Delta turbo we have had the pleasure of working with.
As for the on topic reply, sounds like a great build Shea. Ive been tossing back and forth [well for the past 4 years] whether or not I should put my personal car back on the road. Seeing your thread has me thinking again

I dont know if I'm going to do full interior when I go to the track. No one else does, might as well eliminate that factor since the comp doesnt run it.....then again it depends if I feel like going through the hassle. I already have some weight out of the car (momo steering wheel and carbon fiber hood) the only other weight reduction I'm going to aside from guttin it on occasions is the wheels, carbon fiber trunk lid, and air bag delete.

the car should run very solid still. im going to need more hp to run the times everyone is to get in the 10.5's.. nothing in my car will be touched (wieght wise). i'm not going to run a bw turbo either. going a different route and changing the cams.
your car is going to move man. that dog box tranny is going to be the shit on your car.
I'd first like to start off saying this isnt something that will be completed anytime soon.... Times are tough and money is tight. However, this build will stay progressing forward on a weekly basis until all parts are gathered and built.
This is my daily driver and only vehicle. It will be built for both street AND strip driving. Practicality, durability, and reliability are the main concerns with all of our builds... this build is NO exception. I live 64 miles from Rage-tek (work). Aside from my daily commute to and from work I also travel 115 miles to and from a loved one's house on the weekends. Not to mention the little errands here and there that I have to do on a daily basis for both work and personal use. So is it safe to say this is my daily driver?..... I think so.
Goals:
-One of the fastest 5spds (shooting for top 3, with the fastest being the ultimate goal obviously)
-Daily driven reliability
-650+ (sure it will be more but I'm being very modest)
Good luck Shea I hope you reach your goals and surpass them!! I say go BIG on the turbo and YES deffenetly go Dogbox!! Also are the stock lifters able to handle the high rpm rev's? I heard they weren't good past 7200rpm..

Seems a lot more of us are going that route Good luck to you too Reed!
