Excellent!! I was just about to break down and go visit the local NOPI store... I hate that, I'm always worried someone will take a picture of me walking in there....

I need three sets (six total) of the Aluminum Anodized Blue Sparco hoodpins. They are the 'captured pin' version, not a tethered pin.

I want a passenger seat, I believe my driver seat is a "Flight", but will check on that. It will need the mounting brackets and sliders.

The hoodpins are a 'ready to purchase' item, the seat and mounting hardware are a 'will purchase later when we get to that part of the project' item.

Regards,
Dale

thanks on the correction, all I know is it is more comfortable than the stock seats on a long trip, which I didn't think was possible in a fixed back race seat...

that is THE seat in my opinion. Unbeleivable build quality and the comfort is second to none when comparing to other race seats.

Does not being able to recline the seats ever become an issue?

nope... If you need a bed, get a motel....

Set the seatback angle once during mounting and you are done. Not having a reclining seat does keep the billy badasses who think that they look cool reclined into the back seat from asking for a ride... you know whom I'm speaking about Aaron...

but seriously, we had three drivers during Onelap, and nobody had a complaint about the comfort of the seat.

A couple weeks ago I put about 2K miles on the car over a couple days, spending 11 to 16 hours at a time in the Sparco. I had two comfort issues. The ring and pinkey fingers on my left are kept going numb because of the 'armrest' on the door panel, and my right knee ached the first day because I had the seat moved too close to the steering wheel and haven't got around to installing cruise control yet...

The cage pretty much nixes that idea, there's a lot more room in a motel to spread out, so to speak....

I am guessing that is per seat? As far as the recline thing goes, it's not for bumping uglies in the back but sitting upright on long trips can get a little old after awhile.

Next time you're up this way, you should take my car out for a couple tankfuls of gas... you'll be surprised at how good they feel...

They are also good at ensuring that umm.. larger... people don't want to borrow the car, at least in the size I got. A friend up in NY tried to drive my car when I couldn't, and ended up just sitting on the side bolster, too wide to slip down into the seat... All this time I thought I was really overweight, that really cheered me up...

I will gladly take the one lap car for a tank full of gas with the stage 3 in it. Dont know if I will give a shit about the seats at that point when the new big turbo kicks in!!!!!

Has anyone used or have the Sparco Ultras?
I have been looking into those for a while. I wonder if they are comfortable.
I have a Forza now, and its a bit rough with the IPP coilovers.
MMM, Light weight Ultras, Nemo...
