Nemo,
get into more detail as to why all these other fuckers are saying NOT to go with aluminum flywheels...
check out my post about lightweight flywheels in the performance section and throw your two cents in if you like...

a lot of people are saying turbo cars don't benefit at all from it, in fact it hurts performance, is what they're saying, though nobody has yet to explain why.

Lots of reason.... less weight means 60 foots will suffer at teh track on a full blow slick. Less load on the motor due to less rotating weight causing more turbo lag.

Pros: Faster accelaration on the streets, clutch will live a little longer. I had an aluminum clutch in my last turbo car and i did not like it.

Option for up to 800 ft/lbs available. I have had a verision of this clutch on single disc form hold 420 whp without fail with over 200 1/4 mile type (street) passes and 5000 miles. Remember that is with a single disc version. This dual disc verision has almost double the torque rating.
Initial Pricing $1349.

So is that the price with flywheel and 800 ft/lbs option right. How streetable are the 2, i don't wanna have to do a burn out at every light, not to mention winter fun. I guess my 2 questions are:

1. Price with flywheel and 800 ft/lbs =

2. Can it be feathered =

the organic one can be feathered, the metallic one can't be feathered...if I'm wrong then Nemo can correct me

I just finished installing my clutch, the metallic one, I'm gonna go drive it in a bit, I'll give a review of it, I have pictures of it and some modifications we had to do, but I'm going to send them to Nemo and let him post the pictures, and let him explain the modifications we did and why we did them.

Do these use the standard TO bearing from dodge or do they come with their own. I have heard some complaints with the CM stage 4 clutch and the TO bearing. I dont mind to spend the extra to get something that will hold together for a while on the street and take the occational track abuse.

This is a universal racing clutch as used nascar,sprint,midget,trans-am and indy light cars.
The components are from quatermaster the flywheel is custom as is the release bearing.

The stock clutch master cylinder push rod is not strong enough we had to build a brace system for the rod.
