Default Clutch & Installation quote

Would you guys mind PMing me your suggestions on which clutch you'd recommend along with your cost to install it?

I'm running a stage 3 turbo now, but plan to either big wheel it, .48, or add a 50 shot to the current setup. So I'd like a clutch thats good up to 500ftlbs.
Along with any other minor stuff you'd recommend installing while the trans is off. I dont really care how hard the clutch pedal is.

Thanks, Micah

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it.

So far I'm leaning towards the ACT 6 puck sprung kit, but feel free to make suggestions. I dont need anything too crazy. I dont have any shifting problems with about 40k miles on the car, so hopefully when you open it up there are no suprise's.

Nemo's been really busy (you know how it is). I'll have him shoot you a pm when I get in the shop tomorrow.

We highly recommend the 6puck. We have it on a few of our 600+hp cars and drivability is great. The only other things I recommend is an AGP shift selector and our upgraded 3/4 shift fork.

Go ahead and do clutch fork as well. That thing wears and you may not have any issues on stock clutch, but they can pop up on aftermarket clutches.

Another vote for 6puck. I've had it for 2 years and it's not bad at all to drive or take abuse.

I'll see what I can squeeze into the budget. Come to think of it, 1st is hard to engage sometimes. Would that be a symptom of a worn out fork?

And third pops out on downshifts sometimes.

Could be worn clutch causing engagement issues as well.

Third popping out means your 3/4 shift fork is warped. Only fix is a new one. Perfect time to go with Rage's 3/4 shift fork.

I just purchased the act 6 puck sprung kit. I will call the shop to setup the install once it arrives.

It looks like I'll have to postpone or cancel the clutch install, due to the fact that the car is missing....
