The WRX is 56.1 mm and ours is 57.1 so very minor grinding should allow it to clear hub.
Another thing is that they have a 55mm positive offset while we have a 45mm set up....this means that using their rim in place of ours and with the 205x50x17 tire your sidewalls will stick in towards the strut an extra .4 inches. This would be okay since that is the same amount of less clearance as if you had put a 225x45x17 tire on the stock SRT4 rims. You might have clearance troubles trying to use their rims (after the center bore issue is solved) with a larger 225x45 tire...this would have the sidewall stick in towards the strut .8 inches more than our stock set up.

the offset is the biggest problem in making them fit. You'll need extended lug studs and 8mm or 1/2" spacer to get it pushed away from the brakes and struts, depending on actual width, offset, and spoke design.

If you use those 16" rims with the 205/50/16 tires your diameter will be shorter than the stock 205/50/17 SRT set up by a full inch. That will give an extra 1/2" more clearance all the way around the tire compared to the stock size but the entire package will stick in towards the chassis by 4/10th of an inch still. You might be okay with that set up once youve grinded away that 1 mm from the hub for the smaller center bore.

Also....using the 205/50/16 in place of the 205/50/17 tire will have your real speed at an indicated 60 mph being 57.4 mph.....will slightly change overall gear ratio and give you a bit less mpg, but might help you from getting speding tickets.

im running 5zigen fno1r-c rims off a 06 wrx tr and i needed 6mm spacers to make them fit upfront without any rubbing issues..the back needs 3mm to clear the strut area..im actually on bc coilovers as well and running 225-45-17 tires
