http://www.rippmods.com/templates/te...d=167&menuId=2

site says motegi MR7 but those dont look like MR7 to me, they dont look like any of the motegi wheels ive seen. theyre not slipstreams either i think cuz the car has 17s in back 16s in front. anyone know what wheels?

Motegi Traklites FTW!!! He had a spare set of 2 with slicks mounted so you'd never know if he switched his wheels or not.

They are not Traklites. The traklites are their drag wheels. The Motegi's are their street wheels. That is what it is said on the site.
Yet the pics are of neither of those wheels listed.
They look like the Black Rota Slipstreams.

well i guess i should have looked at the wheels instead of just reading it...they do look like slipstreams because they don't curve in towards the hub...and the center cap looks like the rota one.

Well since the rims pictured are obviously not either of the 2 they have listed for rims(traklites/Motegi's) They might not be same sizes as mentioned.
I know the Slipstreams you can get a 16x7 w/ 45mm offset, a 16x8 w/ 48mm offset, 17x7.5, 17x8, and a 17x8.5 all with a 48mm offset.
Those offset are kind of big though and would require spacers.

The looked like volk te37 but with five spokes which led me to this on a group buy for porsche te37s:

"i noticed that some of those 996's are sporting a 5-spoke wheel. they bare a strong resemblance to the Nismo LM GT4's (also made by Rays Engineering) that is so popular on Nissan tuner cars (R34 Skylines, 350Z, Silvias, etc.). i've never seen a 5-spoke TExx/LExx/CExx series wheel from Volk...are those strictly for racing/track use? i've never seen them advertised anywhere."

and then this:

http://www.g20.net/gallery/showphoto...00&ppuser=2452

edit: well I don't think these are the same rims, but perhaps the rims in the picture are an imitation of the lmgt4s or
rays ralliart rims: http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/...&model=010_R01
