Default Thinking about getting SSR Comps in 18? Think again

Well I had emailed Tire Rack about the SSR's....I wanted to go with 18" not 17's cause im a big baller (J/K) anyway here is their response...looks like I may have to 19" SSR

Thank you for your inquiry.

We don't carry 5-100 18x7.5 35mm SSR Comps but we have wheel available in the following custom sizes:

19x8 5-100 35mm offset silver-with-machined lip finish $599 per wheel.
18x5 5-100 32 mm offset anthracite-with-machined lip finish $469 per wheel.
Keep in mind that whether or not you have rubbing depends on a number factors such as suspension modifications, road conditions, aftermarket wheel offset and amount of load the vehicle is carrying (EG vehicle does not rub with just the driver but rubs with people in the back seat). So we will be a little conservative in our recommendations to avoid any
rubbing.

If you want to run a size that's a little bigger than what we've test fit, we can offer it to you as a "custom fit."

A custom fit is size or part that you can test fit but not drive on. If it turns out the part is not compatible then within 30 days you can call us and request an RA# to return for credit less freight.

If you would like to run custom fit, I would recommend checking with one of the internet forums for your car.

An internet forum is an online club where owners and fans of a particular vehicle can share information about problems, modifications, upgrades etc. I would recommend going to one of the below forums, registering to the forum and searching the forum to see if anyone has tried running this size. If you can't find the information by searching you, then you can post your own question on the forum.

I suggest starting at the below forums:

As for a recommend offset, we don't test fit on lowered cars so the above site would be helpful on this as well. For a stock car, the wheels we offer range in offset from 35mm to 40mm.

Thank you.
