I have a Wilwood BBK on an ACR and the stock 16" wheels - the standard wheel weights put on at the factory were really nice - very thin - and cleared the calipers. MOST wheel weights from tire shops are way too tall to clear.
I have done some internet searches, but the web sites are geared to professional shops (makes sense - most folks don't DIY on replacing tires and balancing their wheels<grin>). I need to provide/supply my own wheel weights when I take the wheels to the shop to be sure that I get the right weights and clearance.....anyone know of or can recommend some slim tire balance weights?
Other ideas/suggestions also welcome (other than "buy new wheels" - I LIKE the BBS wheels on the ACR... and I'd then have to get new struts if I got new wheels, so not an option).
I work in a shop and bada makes slim line stick on weight, you can ask for them to use the stick on weights to balance out your wheels, this will clear your calipers for sure. If they tell you, they can't they are full of it.
