Default Should i get em?

found some hp evos on craigslist and always wanted these rims but im not sure if this is a good deal. They were painted himself and told me that he is sure the wobble is only a balance issue or something with his old car. What else can make them wobble. And he agreed on 500 but im askin if he'll do 450. 18" HP Racing evo 5x100 wheels with tires

Verify from the seller that the wheel in question is not wobbly because its been damaged. Meaning any visible out of roundness on the outside and inside rim edge.

It could quite possibly be a rebalancing of the tire as he states but like anything used, there is always a risk.

Yes. Just make sure you inspect each wheel yourself when you get there.

Inspect the lug holes/seats carefully. It is possible that they are damaged on the wobbly wheel....without being hubcentric that could cause an issue.

Just a thought

Dude, your not gonna see flaws in photos. Especially wheels that are painted BLACK.

You have to drive there and see them in person for yourself.

Just tell the seller to meet you at the local wheel shop in his town. If they will balance and hold air, buy them. If they don't, just walk away. Don't make a questionable purchase that you'll regret later.

For the record, I wouldn't pay $500 for heavy, painted, possibly damaged wheels....
