Default Rota D2 knock-off's ? who makes them

Only reason I ask is because I picked these up about a month ago and was told they were made by exel. I've searched/googled but can't find anything saying they ever made a rim like this. They're 17x7.5 not sure on the offset (dont need spacers) so I'm guessing they're about 38+. They look identical to the Rota D2's & SSR Professor SP1's though.

quick pic from when I first put them on.

Any ideas?

The center caps look identical to whats on the real SSR's (pic above) just doesn't have the center part that says professor sp1.

its funny how rota is a reputable company now because i remember seeing slipstreams on a superstreet editors civic and they called them "fake spoon wheels". its wierd how rota got so much street cred

Greatly agreed. But these same people that swear by rota, laugh at the other knockoffs.Does anyone else feel this way.

Sweet wheels though, i wish someone knew
