Default rolling fender?

I purchased a set of 16x7 rota slipstreams off a member on this site....i put the spacers on and yada yada everything seemed great no clearance issues on the caliper even though its really close and what not so i was happy!

Took it for a ride today on the highway and its rubbing hard on dips and bumps on the road...i stoped after like a 15-20 min ride and see that i'm chewing up the sidewall of the tire..

The tires on the car are 225/50/16 kumo Mx's
And the car is on stock struts and tein H techs!

Do u guys think rolling the fenders will help my situation?

I really cant afford to get a smaller series tire

i didn't think the h-techs really slamed the car. what's the offset of the wheel and what spacer size are you running?

Do you need the spacer to clear the brakes?

Rolling the lips will help, but you may have to dial in some negative camber.

I see those wheels are in a 40mm offset (shouldn't need a spacer) and a 48mm spacer (need at least a 5mm spacer it sounds like). There should be no reason you are rubbing, unless somehow you have positive camber.

Pull the spacer and spin the wheel and see how much clearance you have. As stowaway said it should be fine w/out the spacer.

if you decide to do a rolling job, don't use a bat, i made that ghetto mistake. Shitty paintjob from factory peels away and cracks. Heat gun and rolling machine FTW.

i found out the problem was with my fenders: the car has a pimple on the fender which makes the tires rub when the car hits a dip or what not

Some people have gone as high as 225/55s for a 16" rim
