Default Riken Raptors

Hey has anyone heard anything about, or used these tires before. I'm really not looking for something thats all about performance right now, beings that im SO broke I'm debating between these and the kuhmo ecstas. I want something thats gonna last me at least 35,000 miles and thats pretty good in all sorts of weather!

Thanx bunches

they are a rebranded (and slightly re-engineered) BFG tire, probably a slight change from the g-force sports. Decent tires but aren't going to set the world on fire.

Those raptures are becoming more popular since I found out about them from stowaway . Im going with 18inch yokohama es100s well worth the money. Ive seen the raptors not bad for the price.

I have had them on my car since i bought it back in october. they were fairly new when i got them (around 85-90% tread) and i need to replace my fronts because of my lead foot, and being too lazy to rotate.

over all though, they are a GREAT tire for ~75/peice. they have a nice solid turn in, it takes a good bit to feel them rolling on the sidewalls with the 205/50's. have had them up to 150 a few times, and they were rock solid up high.

they are not the best tire you can buy, but if you can't afford the higher end tires like the KDW2 and that kind of stuff, they are the ONLY way to go IMO.

EDIT:
i know this thread is old, but i figured i would put in my little review on the tires for future referance.

a ha! I didn't know that. Thanks I wasn't (well kinda ) trying to discredit your post. I just posted a review i read before purchasing.

So far for me, these have met my broke ass expectations. My last set were Yoko ES100 and didn't last very long.

Riken Raptors are very popular with the Mustang/Camaro crowd so they must work fairly well.
