That's the tire size I used with my stock suspension... close to spring perch but clears... Tire Rack sells the tires I used and are in stock now! Firestone winterforce tires are best bang for buck and can be studded.. only 65 bucks studded and 8 bucks shipping per tire I think... Mine are studded and I go anywhere in winter as long as snow isn't deeper than 4 inches...LOL Ice no problem. Car would stop on a dime on a sleeted up road, flat or a hill. Tires are just amazing and last at least 4 winters in my opinion.. Have them on my SUV and only snow tire I will buy in 15 inch rim size for our cars... as for 17 inch size I also use some Viking brand snow tires..205/55/17 and they have worked well for studless.. a continental tire company off brand. H-speed rated too. But for price and snow/ice performance I'd go with 15 inchers with firestones. Car is more sloppy in curves than with 17 inch vikings, but you don't need to drive fast in snow...duhhh

Here's a link if it works for these tires... :

hello, i used search but didnt find anything to help me. my question, using stock suspension, no spacers, and 16inch steel regular neon rims, whats the biggest tire i can put on that rim to clear stock suspension??? i was thinking like a 215/-60-65-70/ 16 tire with dia of 26.2- 27.0- 27.9.... i may go with a 225-65-16 27.5 dia. or a 205-70-16 dia of 27.3, im not caring about performance, or looks, i just need a winter setup.. cheap!, thinking firestone winterforce tires.. who knows black steelys with truck tires on a red srt may look cool??? ehh no. hehe whatcha think?, and not that il run the biggest able, but id like to know my limits. id measure myslef but my tires are like 2/32nds and i dont know what they were when new (215-45-17 nitto neo gen stock rim)

why the heck do you want something so tall? If you want the car to sit higher get coilovers and raise it up some.
